The closest airport is Queenstown International, which is a two hour drive from Te Anau.
Multiple airlines offer direct flights from Brisbane, and other capital cities, to Queenstown, typically departing in the morning arriving around 2PM in Queenstown.
As such, arriving a day prior is required to allow for the two hour drive to Fiordland Lodge.
